I've been getting into a late 90s anime series called Big O. I like say it in the Budweiser "Whassup" style. So it's not just "Big O," it's really pronounced BIG OOOOOOOOOOGGGGGGGHHHH!!!! If in public and want to keep my dignity, I just say Big Oh Shit!" Because I'd say "Oh Shit" if I saw that mother fucker walking down my street.
Thought the show was pretty cool. Especially how the mechs are drawn and animated in a way that they just feel so massive and heavy. Big O is not one of those hyper active animes that abuse the swooshy background (Which I usually don't like). It's very much more cool and film noirish like if Batman had a giant mech. Eventually I might want to review this series once I watch more episodes. Until then, here's some Sweet Filler.
1st one being a remastered Toonami promo for their mech and robot related shows. Toonami really made some intense promos. Getting Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime really makes the shows their promoting feel like a theatrical block buster. I'll never have a voice that cool. :(

Here's a well edited Anime Music Video of Big O with the song Master of Puppets by Soil & Eclipse. Don't like AMVs, especially when it's the only thing I can find searching for a show, but I have to appreciate the editing here.
Big O's Intro is obviously inspired by Queen's Flash Gordon Theme. Except more menacing. Here we see the 2 mixed together.
Hey! It's an Abridged Series that's actually well made. I do love dark humor. I'd watch more but right now I haven't seen most of the episodes of the real series.
